Futures
Fitting
A 1:1 foresight session, tailored to you.

essays, tools, & frameworks delivered via Substack.

Future in the Making helps you turn the anxiety of a fast-changing world into a sense of agency over your own.
The premise is simple: the future isn’t something that happens to you. It’s something being built right now, in small choices and visible signals, and you have more say in your part of it than the news cycle suggests.
I write a Substack, give talks, run workshops, and work directly with individuals and small teams — helping them notice the patterns shaping their world, clarify what they want their future to look like, and move toward it deliberately.
The aim, in all of it, is to make hope possible.
I believe that futures thinking is for everyone, not just large-scale corporations. To that end, I’m primarily focused on filling the gaps left by traditional foresight consultancies by serving individuals and smaller teams.
This includes higher and continuing education, startups and small businesses, accelerators, NGOs, think tanks, communities, and civic institutions.
Talks, keynotes and guest lectures that leave the audience with a renewed sense that the future is something they get to shape.
One-on-one and small-group sessions for working on something specific, with foresight tools you keep using long after we’re done.
Deeper engagements that bring foresight and cultural insight into an organization’s thinking, strategies, products and services.
I’m Kinsey, a California native and current resident of Munich, Germany. I have a double B.A. in Design and Sociocultural Anthropology and an M.A. in Design Management. I’ve spent years in the agency world doing consulting work for big multinational brands, but eventually found myself burnt out with the corporate world and looking for something a little more grounded and human. Thus, Future In the Making was born!
A 1:1 foresight session, tailored to you.
You bring a career move, a business idea or a decision you're stuck on. We use foresight tools to look at what's shaping your situation and the paths open to you, and you leave with tools you can keep using, a few concrete proposals, and your next steps.
Online or in person in Munich.
€180 for the first 3 bookings. I'm opening Futures Fittings with a thank-you price: the first three people to book a single session pay €180 instead of €250. In return, I ask for a short testimonial afterwards that I can share publicly. No code needed, just book as usual.
Futures thinking works best with other people around. I host gatherings in Munich, from free and casual to small and focused.
A monthly community breakfast. Free, no RSVP, just show up.

A futurist studies the signals of change happening now and helps people imagine and prepare for different possible futures. My focus is cultural: how people live, work, gather and make things, and what that tells us about where we're headed.
Individuals at a crossroads (career changes, new businesses, early-career people), and small organizations such as startups, accelerators, universities, NGOs, think tanks and civic institutions.

Yes. I give keynotes, input talks and guest lectures for conferences, universities, accelerators and team offsites, usually on what it takes to become someone who shapes the future rather than waits for it.
Yes. I'm based in Munich and work in person across the DACH region, and remotely with people and teams anywhere.
Traditional foresight mostly serves large corporations. I bring the same methods to individuals and smaller teams, starting from culture rather than tech trends, and with a hands-on approach: you practice futures thinking, not just read about it.
